Rains and cold nights in the Valley of Mexico this weekend

The National Meteorological Service (SMN), through CONAGUA, reports that Cold Front No. 15 will remain stationary over the eastern Gulf of Mexico, extending its influence to the Valley of Mexico. In combination with a low-pressure channel over the central region, this system will bring intervals of rain, strong winds, and cold nights to the State of Mexico and Mexico City.

General overview of the weather systems

The associated polar air mass will maintain very cold morning and evening conditions, with fog banks in higher areas. A new cold front (No. 16) will approach northern Mexico, with potential impacts on the central region by Saturday and Sunday.
